Grantham Plant Sale Poster Update

Grantham Plant Sale Poster Update

UPDATED poster for Grantham St Barnabas Hospice’s fundraising Plant Sale on 22 June 2014.

St Barnabas Hospice are excited to announce that garden designer Alan Mason has very kindly agreed to come along and join them on the day to give advice and tips on a range of gardening issues. Alan has also donated a 2-hour garden design consultation with him as a prize.

The hospice held their first plant and garden equipment (second-hand) sale last year. It proved very popular and raised around £1,200 for the Grantham Hospice. This year they hope to make it even more successful, so if anybody has a few spare plants, shrubs or unwanted garden equipment (in reasonable condition) to donate, they would be most grateful: collection can be arranged if needed.

Also, they say that “if any SLGS members have something a little different that they would like to donate as a raffle prize which fits in with a Garden/Summer theme that would be lovely – perhaps a selection of garden produce for example”?

Tel: Janie McCormick, Community Events Fundraiser, St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice (01476) 591010 Ext 116.

St Barnabas Hospice is Lincolnshire’s leading specialist palliative care provider. They have been operating our services since 1982 and in the last 12 months they supported over 5,500 people across Lincolnshire. All their services are FREE.

It is through the kind support and generous donations of the people of Lincolnshire that they have been able to continue to grow and expand their reach of care across Lincolnshire over the past 30 years. They therefore have to raise as much money as possible to ensure patients and their families continue to receive the care when they need it.

They raise their money through a variety of means, this plant sale being just one of many.
