Our programme for next year has been finalised (apart from the garden visits and coach outing), and we’re excited to announce that we have some rather special events lined up for this year in the lead-up to our “Big 3-0” (we turn 30 in September 2015!).
Our first meeting of the New Year, on January 22nd, after the AGM (which will be at 7pm, remember!), features a talk by Val Bourne, well-known organic gardener, author and regular columnist for ‘The Telegraph’, as well as feature writer for many other garden magazines.
A particularly special talk, falling outside our normal timetable, is on Thursday 16 April, when we will welcome the noted Irish plantswoman HELEN DILLON (of the Dillon Garden, Dublin, regular columnist for the RHS magazine ‘The Garden’), on a rare speaking engagement in England. We’ve been wanting to get Helen to visit us for several years, and we’re hoping that you’ll spread the word amongst your gardening friends – after you’ve booked your own tickets, of course!
Download the full programme here – and a form to renew your membership for 2015 (if you didn’t pay at the last meeting, your membership for 2015 is due at the end of December. I hope you’ll agree that once again we’ve got a really good year ahead!
