Annual membership (1 Jan–31 Dec) costs £15 single or £20 joint (two members at the same address).

Membership runs from 1 January to 31 December, but if you join on or after 1 September your first subscription will run until 31 December the following year, giving you up to 16 months’ membership for the price of 12.

New members

To join the South Lincolnshire Garden Society, come along to any of our indoor meetings a few minutes early and speak to the Membership Secretary, who is usually sitting at a table by the door. You can pay in cash or by cheque, made out to South Lincolnshire Garden Society.

Alternatively, please contact the Membership Secretary by post (address below) or by email. We will need the following details:

  • Name (or names) of the new member(s)
  • Email address(es) if possible
  • Postal address, including postcode
  • Telephone number
  • The amount you will be paying (£15 single/£20 joint)

If you would like a form to print out, fill in by hand and send or hand in, please click here.

Unfortunately we cannot currently accept payment online, so we would be grateful if you could pay by cheque (or by cash or cheque at an indoor meeting).

If you have any questions, please contact the Membership Secretary (details below).

Membership renewal

Please note that members who have not renewed their membership by 31st MARCH will be deemed to have resigned from the Society and will no longer receive Newsletters or personal email notification from SLGS or be entitled to any of the other benefits of membership.

It is easiest to renew your membership at an indoor meeting, preferably at the January AGM. We accept payment in cash or by cheque. If you wish to renew by post, please send the same details as listed above (plus your Membership Number, and a cheque made out to South Lincolnshire Garden Society), to:

Mrs P Kempster,
SLGS Membership Secretary,
Westfield House,
West End,
Lincs NG34 0JH.

Tel: 01529 421840

If you do not renew your membership before THE END OF MARCH you will be deemed to have resigned from the Society. If you wish to resign formally, or in the middle of a year, please notify the Membership Secretary by letter or email. If you do not inform the Membership Secretary before 31 December of your intention to resign you will become liable for the next year’s subscription. We regret that we cannot refund membership fees in part or in whole; any “unused” moneys will be treated as a donation.
