Thursday 24 Jan, AGM, 7pm

AGM (from 7pm, not 7.30) was followed by a talk by TREVOR ROGERS“Vita, Violets, Verse”

This month’s AGM discussed and voted on proposed changes to the SLGS Constitution. Other regular items on the agenda included the re-election of the committee. There were several vacancies for ordinary members of the committee; volunteers are welcome to contact any committee member with a view to joining the committee at any time during the year.

NIGEL COLBORN will give a talk entitled “Glory in the Gloom”

Well-known from his many appearances as a presenter on BBC Gardeners’ World and a panellist on Gardeners’ Question Time, Nigel is an adopted South Lincs local. He formerly ran a nursery in Careby, north of Stamford, and now lives a similar distance north of Bourne. He is a trustee of the RHS, a former Vice Chairman of RHS Council and has served on several of their committees. He has travelled widely and has written several books as well as innumerable articles for The Garden and other gardening periodicals.
