Open Gardens 2019

(PAGE UPDATED: 27 May 2019)

Compared with previous years, a far less ambitious listing, I’m afraid. Only added to sporadically as I find or receive a new batch that’s worth spending the time to put on.

The National Gardens Scheme donated a record £3.1 million last year to national nursing, gardening and health charities.

Visitors to NGS gardens will also have the satisfaction of knowing that their entrance fee is supporting valuable causes, as about 80p in every £1 collected at the garden gate goes straight to the NGS beneficiary charities, which include Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Hospice UK and Carers Trust.
